Connecting on a personal level is an important part of sharing ideas. On this page we'll present some details about our organization and the people behind it.
ASTI's motto is "Training Today to Meet the Needs of Tomorrow" and is seeking designation as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our staff and board are all volunteers who have taken on the tasks of assisting ASTI in addition to their "real" jobs, simply because they believe in the values and mission of the organizaton and feel that the services and resources that ASTI is seeking to bring to the community are vitally needed.
We are officed at 40206 Benson Park Road, in Tecumseh Oklahoma. Our mailing address is ASTI, PO Box 247, Tecumseh, OK 74873. Our physical mailing address is misleading as it is 40206 Benson Park, Shawnee Oklahoma 74801, but we are physically within the small rural community of Tecumseh which was named after perhaps the greatest leader in Shawnee History, the Great Tecumseh.

We expect to accomplish great things, because without great expectations, one only accomplishes small things which are not enough for greatness.
Our Programs are still under development but will primarily consist of customized training based upon organizational needs provided on a fee-basis with the proceeds from the training provided going back to support the educational and environmental needs of the tribal community.

For communities that have evolving relationships with neighboring tribes, contact us and we can help train your staff to promote better understanding of tribal issues and concerns that can greatly strengthen relationships in multi-jurisdictional areas. We recognize that tribal citizens are also citizens of the community, the county/parish, state and country and that as such have all the expectations, priviledges and responsiblities that accompany being a citizen.
